At Burstow Primary School, we promote and nurture positive attitudes towards learning additional languages. With regular access to French lessons through our ‘Rigolo’ scheme of work, KS2 pupils are given the opportunity to practise reading, writing, speaking and listening to French in a fun and engaging way. Our intention is for all pupils to feel enthusiastic and confident about using new languages so that they are well prepared and eager for their next stage of language learning in Key Stage Three.
