What is our philosophy?
Our philosophy is based on nurturing strong, wholesome values and a life-long love of learning. We have exciting learning environments indoors and outdoors. We do things a little bit differently in our Nursery and this is what makes what we offer very special.
We teach children how to be more self-aware, confident and able to adapt their thinking ready to embrace what the world will be like when they are adults.
How do we do this?
Children learn the skill of meditation, helping them to become focused, self- reflective and independent thinkers. We develop children to become methodical experimenters, confident speakers and understand how to face challenges and get through them.
Alongside how to make friends, learning letter sounds and key literacy and number skills, how to adapt thinking to be positive and unafraid of having a go at something, whether it fails or succeeds.
This is a key skill which directly correlates to success in English and Maths at the end of Year 2 and Year 6.
Brave and fearless learners leave our Nursery fully prepared and eager to move into our wonderful Reception classes.
What are parents saying?
“I was so excited this morning, Oliver wrote letter ‘T’ all by himself and brought it to show me, saying ‘ttttt’ tower! Wow! It’s only his second week!” Oliver’s mum.
